MIG-250 is a welding machine suitable for both amateur and professional use. Before operating or servicing the machine, please read the operating manual and save it for future reference. This welding machine can work in MIG and MMA mode. IGBT power supply with unique control mode improves the reliability of the machine. Powerful duty cycle allows for continuous welding work. Closed-loop feedback control, stable output voltage allow operation at ± 15% fluctuations of the supply voltage. Adjustable welding current and voltage, excellent welding characteristics. The use of unique dynamic control of the characteristics of the control board ensures stable welding arc, little spatter, excellent seam and high efficiency. Removal of the bead at the end of the seam, high voltage without load, slow wire feed, high success rate of ignition of the welding arc. Stable welding current in MMA, excellent arc ignition.

Additional features:

1. Inductance

• Inductance affects the arc dynamics in MIG/MAG welding.
• Higher inductance → less spatter, smoother seam, softer wire melting.
• Lower inductance → more aggressive arc, deeper penetration.
• Useful when welding thin materials (higher inductance) or thick metals (lower inductance).

2. Burnback (Burnback time after welding)

• Adjusts the time the wire remains under tension after the feed stops.
• If it is too short → the wire may stick to the workpiece.
• If it is too long → the wire may burn too much and become too short.
• Useful for preventing the wire from sticking and ensuring the correct length for the next ignition.

Both settings can optimize the weld quality according to the specific material and thickness.

3. 2T/4T option

This setting determines how the torch is triggered and controlled when welding.

1. 2T (Two-stroke mode)

• The most standard and easiest mode.
• You pull the trigger → the wire feed and welding begin.
• You release the trigger → the feed stops and the arc goes out.
• Suitable for short seams and for beginner welders.

2. 4T (Four-stroke mode)

• You press and release the trigger → welding begins.
• You don't have to hold the trigger down the whole time.
• You press and release again → welding stops.
• Convenient for long stitches because it reduces hand fatigue.
• In some machines, it allows adjustment of starting and ending current for better control of the welding process.

Conclusion:

• 2T → Short welds, convenient to start and stop.
• 4T → Long stitches, less fatigue, better control.

You use 4T if you weld continuously and want a more stable process without having to hold the trigger down all the time.
